You were in an office. Not just any office, but Lord Hercules.  He was the Duke of Athens.  You were here with your father Kiku, your lover Arthur, and Francis. Unfortunately the terms were not in your favor at the moment.
Lord Hercules cleared his throat and said "Kiku, my good friend please explain why you are insisting to meet with these people so urgently…"  . Kiku then explained "My daughter" he points at you "refuses to marry Francis, the man that I her father has chosen for her and would rather have Arthur, who has won her love in silly poems and gifts".  Lord Hercules looked slightly tiered then said "Well then let her marry who she chooses…" .
Kiku was a little more upset at this and replied "It is the law that she weds who her father chooses!" Arthur couldn't hold back anymore. He yelled out "But Francis has already won the heart and virginity of _____(your friend)____!  I'm of the same social standing and wealth, and I love ______(name)__!" Kiku was not happy at this out burst, he replied "___(name)___ will marry Francis and that is that!"
Lord Hercules felt sympathy for you. He then said to you "__(name)___ , You can join the temple of Diana and forever be a barren nun, Marry Francis, or be executed, I'm sorry…. I'll give you time to think this over". You cried and Arthur tried to hold you but, was restrained.

You and Arthur met at your shared spot. It was where you met, under the bridge in the clearing outside of town. You cried in his arms that were draped around you. Arthur stroked the back of your neck. Then he leaned in and kissed you, he was gentle as always when he did this. He then broke the kiss and said " (name), Run away with me! I have a friend named Alfred and we are practically brothers. He lives outside of Athens and we could stay with him and be married!" You were elated at the news and hugged him tightly. You said "Oh Arthur! You're Brilliant! Of course I'll run away with you!" You both kissed. Arthur broke the kiss and said "Meet me in the forest outside the city gate, where we had that picnic!" you kissed once more then parted for it was late now and you needed to prepare to leave Athens for good. What you didn't know was that (your friend) herd it all and had her own plans…
