You were walking through your neighbor hood. Your ( h/c ) strands flying around in the wind as you passed your town cemetery. That place always seamed to scare you, it looked peaceful enough though despite it’s ominous aura. As you walked past you heard someone call your name almost like a whisper,  “.... (name) .... (name) ...”. It sent shivers down your spine. You walked on and ignored it but suddenly you felt colder. And as if to suit the mood the sky dimmed as night was falling. You were scared so bad you started walking faster. You needed to get home anyway to avoid being out with the crowds once Halloween trick or treat-ers started prowling. But you couldn’t help the feeling of being followed.

You walked faster and faster till you were running. You needed to get home, away from what was following you. You ran and ran and didn’t stop when you heard your name get called. You ran into the house and locked the door. You called out to see if anyone was home but you had no answer. You wandered to the kitchen to find a note;

( name) we went out to a party at the (boring neighbors), we
Wanted to wait for you but (sibling name) was getting impatient
We’ll be home at 10:00 pm

They had perfect timing to leave you home alone. Oh well, it’s not like you were going to die. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and an all too familiar voice “hey lass, why’d ye run all the way home like that?”. Now that you recall that did sound like Allistor’s voice when you heard your name called when you ran home. Blushing from being slightly embarrassed about running from nothing, you opened the door to see your friend Allistor a bit worried.

"Hey Allistor, what's up?" you greeted with a smile. You had a crush on your friend but you wouldn't admit it. Who could blame you though, Allistor was so cute with his fiery red hair and charming green eyes, and his smile gave you butterflies.Anyways...

" I got worried seeing ye running from some invisible creature, holiday getting to ya lass?"

"no, I'm fine... It was just that cemetery again... it never stops giving me the creeps"

Allistor gave you a worried look, "Yer by yerself, I could hang out with ye fer a while (name) if ye don't mind having me around..."

Allistor was such a good friend, He always made you feel safe. And as much as you wanted to look strong, you couldn't say no to him staying by your side. Especially after that scare you had, even if it was nothing it felt real enough.

"Alright Allistor, thanks.."

He took it as a welcome in and preceded through the doorway. You two played games to take your mind off earlier but that feeling of being watched never truly left, even with Allistor to keep you company. You just hoped nothing bad would happen.
